It is up to the developers how big the discount is. There is nothing you can do about it, making a thread won't change their decision at all.

Not really a smart thing to say if the choice is between smurfing and cheating.
But on topic: it sells like crazy even for full price. And since the change to VAC games in gifiting the people who would stockpile purchase the game can't anymore. So it wouldn't see a big increase in sales number through a high discount.
