How to be notified by comments

Can't seem to find where I turn this on. Whenever people comment on my screenshots, it doesn't notify me. I then notice, months later, and want to comment, but feel stupid, haha.

How do I turn on notifications for the comments I get on my screenshots?

Mark the square where it says subscribe to tread:

Then you get a Notification (like the one you get for a message here) to let you know someone commented

Ah so I have to check that for every picture I put up then? And there's no way to make it automatically check it?

I think after you do it once, it does it for all subsequent screenshots that you upload.
