Ok... I'm tired of it. Terraria won't open up!

When I click play on terraria it says Terraria - Running on the side of where my games are. I've done almost everything I can think of with the help of others. I've ran Terraria as administrater, done that xna thing, I've reinstalled Terraria. NOTHING IS WORKING! I know this should be in the Terraria section of the forums, but I really want help with this!

What is your antivirus program ?

What other security software do you have other than antivirus ?

Operating System- Yes

Antivirus Program- Avast Free Antivirus

Other security software- Can't find any more on my pc.

No, I was asking what your operating system is in complete form.

And Avast needs to be properly allowing Steam and games as exceptions.

No, I was asking what your operating system is in complete form.

Your operating system in complete form is as exampled here ....(Windows 7 32 bit, Windows 10 64 bit, Windows Vista 32 bit, etc.)

I disabled Avast and I can enable it whenever. I checked the list and I dont have any of the softwares listed. (Besides Avast.)

After you do anything to try to resolve the situation, you have to make sure the game files are intact.

It said that one file wasn't validated or somthing like that... then it said it was fixing it.

That is normal. Did you see the green box there on that page ?

So go to your Steam library and click "play" for the game and don't try to launch it any other way.

Remove your custom settings to the .exe file as in running as admin and whatnot.

Had the same problem, try do go in Fullscreen Mode after you started Terraria (Ctrl + Enter or something like that)
