Windows 7 and up (not sure about vista) should have a built in program to open and extract zip filter.

If not, you can download 7-Zip for free. It is an open source program that will allow you to open and extract the files form many diffrent compression formats, including zip.

Thanks anyways, a Microsoft moderator suggested 7-Zip xD too. Watched this 10-year old on YouTube who fixed the problem via Control Panel.
idk if the giveaway is still valid but on shareware.com, a zip program (not winrar, not winzip, but an other one) is on a time-limited giveaway. just use your alternate email to fdownload the freebie.

as an alternative, you can download/install the free zip utility: 7zip

Seeing as lack of infromation prevents assistance beyond suggesting a seperate program, it help if you say what your OS was to begin with.

Besides, 7zip is a better program an supports more formats then Window build in program. It is considered an essential program by many.

I've seen those videos. They kids were coached through it or only did the voice over.
