Buying the Same Game Twice?

I'm planning on pre-ordering South Park The Fractured But Whole Gold Edition which includes the previous game South Park Stick of Truth. I was wanting to purchase The Stick of Truth now so I could play it before the new game comes out but then I'm not sure what would happen if I still pre-ordered the next game. Would I get the game a second time or would I just pay the same amount but not get it?

Don't pre-order, it's not like there is a limited supply and they'll run out.

Looks like you can play it today reguardless, so there is no need to purchase it twice.

Keep in mind that playing the Stick of Truth counts for the two hours refund limit of the main game as well, even if it is a pre-order.

Beware bundles when it comes to refunds. When 2 games are packaged together like this, if you play SOT and then end up not liking the new game, you will be unable to refund it since the playtime combined on both games is counted.
