gpu drivers not working

Hey guys :)
I have just upgraded my pc from a GTX 770 to a GTX 1080TI ROG.
I was looking REALLY forward to try it, but i could not make it work. When i turn on my pc it goes into the startcreen (ASUS press delete to enter bios), and then the windows load, but after that the screen just turns black.
Here is what i first did:
First i did not know anything about drivers so i just switched the GPU's to the new one. That did not work. Then i tried to delete the drivers when the old GPU was in the computer, and i installed the other GPU. That worked fine, but when i tried to install the drivers the screen went black again (can't remember exactly how).
Then i got that brilliant idea to reinstall Windows 10 and delete all data on the disks. That went fine and i put on the cd with the drivers. It started downloading and that was the happiest moment of my life. But then it went black... First i thought it was adapting to the new grapics but there never came anything on the screen.
I have also tried to install a driver booting from the windowsUSB, that did not work either.
As you maybe can see i am totally lost here. I really hope you can and will help me!

Post a CPU-Z validation link and post your full PSU specs (make, model, revision, age in months, etc.) 😐🤓👍😇🙏

You want me to Remove the 1080? And i really Dont Think Its the gpu. Its not like It shots Down og anything only Black screen. The same thing hallens with the Gtx 770. Dont Think i need more power :(

It could be that windows is trying to use your iGPU instead. Plug you monitor into it and then see what happens on boot.

You needd to uninstll all the past GPU drivers before you proceed to install your graphics card.

I cant plug my screen in anywhere Else than in the gpu. And i have reinstalled Windows 10 and deleted everything so the drivers are gone i guess?
I just tried to wipe the pc again and reinstall Windows. Then i Got into the computer and installed the drivers from the cd i got. But after the reboot it askes for the graphics were still ♥♥♥♥ and the computer stopped sending output to the monitor after a coupé of seconds.
Now i have wiped the computer again and is installing Windows. I shall just find nvideas drivers on the website right? Or is there a better option? Btw i'm glad you want to helt guys!

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I wiped the pc again but before i could install the drivers from the internet it stopped sending feed to the screen. It is really strange.

You probably inserted the GPU wrong look if the connections are tight and not loose with the power and the slot for he motherboard.
