Lost the game.exe

I played 2K18 today, everything went well. Then I restarted the game 4 hours after, and it does not launch anymore since it says Im missing the NBA2K18.exe, I verifried the game files but it doesnt work, the game is like is a infinite updating loop.
Is anybody know how to fix this issue? Thank you

Sounds like problematic or misconfigured antivirus or security software quarantining the .exe file for the game. That's why it keeps trying to update.

Verifying files will not solve that. You have to make sure the antivirus or security software is ignoring Steam and games in real time.

What is your antivirus program ?

If the .exe is being quarantined by some process on your machine, then the issue may return. I suggest you carefully consider that for the future, please.

After resolving any conflicts, then you can verify the game files to correct issues like this and then all should be well. The files only need to be verified when there is a need for them to be verified, surely. Thanks and good luck to you unless you need other assistance.
