This happens when the wyvern eggs have expired.
Eggs spawn when there is a wyvern near a nest location. Youe best option is to go pick up all the expired eggs and come back later.
What has happened is a player has come into render, spawned an egg and the expiration timer has started. If no player picks up the egg, it stays there and blocks spawns till someone does pick it up.
After a lot of testing I found a much better chance of spawning wyvern eggs by killing the wyverns. When the re-spawn near the nest there is always a guaranteed egg.
This get really bad on low player count servers. Where admins have to go and clear egg nests once a week. Very annoying.
Sounds like they didn't get that far, Silky. Speed boat's explanation is probably the most likely.
I also had a tribe mate try to drop eggs to incubate, but we have an egg crate mod, and it picked up our wyvern eggs. You aren't on an unofficial with some kind of super hyper max egg collector or anything, right, Koda?
thanks man I will try this for sure I was taking a bit of time to find them and I went to the wrong spot to find it was the right spot lol
