Steam guard code input box not appearing on steam client while login

[Maksud Bhai]

I have notice that, when i try to login to steam client and tick the option remember my password, steam guard codes comes to my mobile, however, a box where i have to enter the code doesn't popup. On the other hand when i untick remember password option, i am able to see the popup box where i can enter the code and login. Please fix this.

I have a similar problem except no matter what I check it doesn't pop up and I have to restart my client.

How is this not a bug? I'm experiencing it at the moment. If I tick the option to remember my password, the SteamGuard box doesn't show up and therefore it just stalls on the login page, with me unable to login - Literally the login window just freezes, as if the SteamGuard window is off screen or invisible.

How stupid or ignorant do you have to be in order to post such things? I experience the exact same glitch and it is annoying to have to restart the client just to be given the option to enter the code... It doesn't matter whether I tick the remember my password box or not, the box where I have to enter my code simply doesn't show up.

He said that because when you tick the option to remember your password the client should login automatically without the need to type anything at all.

In your case something is blocking this process.

you dont need to restart your client , if you wait 1 to 2 mins the box always pop up , just watch some food video when you're waiting :) , idk if this works for you but at least it works for me

Question - what if I watch say a drinks video? Does it take longer? Can it be any form of imbibing or digestable substance or can it be something else?

Bro if you happen to switch accounts you need to re login. At that time you need to enter the 2 factor auth code but the box for input doesn't show up
