[RESOLVED] I've had mobile authentication for a week now but i still have a trade hold?
Could anyone help me with this? im trying to get a trade on CSGO, i have the mobile app, done all the stuff and waited but i still have a hold

EDIT: this issue has been resolved, thank you to "the giving one" for his/her help

Check your email for "Mobile Authenticator Added" and look at the date/time it was sent.

What does it say?

Mobile Authenticator Added

A Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator provides additional security for your account. Adding an authenticator does not immediately remove existing restrictions. Trades created within the first 7 days of adding the authenticator will still have up to a 15 day trade hold. This allows your items to still be protected and gives you time to recover your account if a malicious actor were to ever add an authenticator to your account.

Restrictions are in Valve's time, not your's. It must be 7 full and uninterrupted days.

i understand, it is very possible it just FEELS like its been a week and thats why im confused, for all i know this is just a pointless post

Again, the times the restrictions apply are in Valve's time zone. I have asked why they don't specify this in the message, as it would surely help with a lot of confusion. This gets posted about here all the time....lots of times.

Wait longer, please, as it has not been 7 days yet.
