Eve Online Subscription Refund
As I type this, I have already talked to Eve Online's support on this matter. They removed the product from my account, but I cannot find a way to contact steam support. The refund option in the formats provided, do not allow me the freedom to. Therefore, I come here, seeking an answer to "How do I talk to a human being from steam support directly about my issue?" http://imgur.com/a/udJJ4

This is the ticket that I submitted through their ticketing system. Steam says they do not handle the refunds for Eve Online, yet Eve says they do, when you try to get a refund for it, there is no further options. Seeing as how this is labeled as "Help and Tips" maybe someone would be able to give me a number, or a secret forums, or a better support site for steam.... an email? Anything to actually contact steam support.

You said they removed it from your account ?

I still see it in your library.

It was the subscription, not the game.

So you want to refund the game ?

You have over 300 hours of playtime. The limit is 2.
TheNarberal Aug 22, 2017 @ 10:16pm
No, I want to refund the subscription. Eve themselves would do it, but I had to go through steam, since I bought the game through steam.
TheNarberal Aug 22, 2017 @ 10:17pm
Therefore, the money went through steam first.

Forgive me then, as I misunderstood after reading your uploaded image of the reply from GM Kaora.

You asked about email, phone number/other support options.

Sorry, but you have to use the ticket system. That is the only way to get Steam support.

Well, the ticket system, doesn't work for this. As they lie about this situation. http://imgur.com/a/rvZJV

It wasn't even an ingame purchase either. :/
FFL2and3rocks Aug 22, 2017 @ 10:21pm
Do you see it in your purchase history?

https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/

Try finding the charge from there, you may be able to submit a ticket that way. I'm not familiar with subscriptions though, so I don't know for sure if the option will appear like it does for a purchased game.

I beat you to the punch line @FFl

Might want to ask in the game's forum since those are the people playing and dealing with the game: http://steamcommunity.com/app/8500/discussions/0/

Looks like you are requesting a refund on in-game purchases, according to that image.

Are you saying they are treating the subscripton as an "in-game" purchase, or did you have actual in-game purchases ?

Refunds on In-game Purchases

Steam will offer refund for in-game purchases within any Valve-developed games within forty-eight hours of purchase, so long as the in-game item has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Third-party developers will have the option to enable refunds for in-game items on these terms. Steam will tell you at the time of purchase if the game developer has opted to offer refunds on the in-game item you are buying. Otherwise, in-game purchases in non-Valve games are not refundable through Steam.

Looks like they don't offer refunds for subscriptions.

Does Steam offer partial refunds for unused Subscription time?

No, but a cancelled Subscription will remain active until the paid plan period expires.

They should probably add that detail to the main refund page.

You are right. A link or a paragraph on the policy page covering that surely would be a good idea.
TheNarberal Aug 22, 2017 @ 10:26pm
Eve Online would handle it, they already removed the subscription from my account. Therefore, to them, it was refunded.
