how can i check what region a game i bought is for?

recently bought a game and i am about to install and play it.

i'm somewhat concerned because on the games forums, people are saying they received the australian versoin of the game even though they bought and are playing it from within the us.

how can i check to see what version/region lock of a game i purchased?

indeed, i am about to try something i just read. it involved deleting the free weekend license from my account and verifying game files aftwerwards.

Any region restriction on a product will be clearly noted on the product's Steam Store page as shown below. Most products purchased for yourself on Steam do not have region restrictions.
