Saay im playing CSGO competitive. Like Im in a 1v2 clutch situation I get both of them and I start to freeze up, then I try to press the windows key, then the game is like invisible, I cant click anything on the home screen nothing works. Your onboard chip is most likely overheating. It doesn't matter if it was fine a week ago, intel hd 4000 isn't a good chip to game with, get a GPU.

Why do you not have your operating system in your specs ?

Windows AND if it is 32 or 64 bit, please.

Post the exact computer you have also. Model and model number, as well as manufacturer.

It's an older system, so one would assume you have all the device drivers fully up to date. But in case you do not, you should check that and do so now.

Verify this result is correct.

Games crashing can also be due to conflicting software that does not get along with Steam/games.

Do the following, please. Read it all very carefully and follow the steps fully.

1. Take screenshots of all of the programs you have installed on your computer. Control panel then programs/programs and features. (Windows 7,8,8.1) or "apps" (Windows 10 click "Start" (Windows icon on bottom left))

2. Click Windows Start and type in msconfig and run that resulting process. Go to the services tab and check the box on bottom "Hide all Microsoft services". Take screenshots of all that is left.

3. Then go to the startup tab on top of that same window(Task Manager in W10). Take screenshots of all that there also.

Post all the links to the above screenshots here, using a file hosting site such as imgur.com

Everything and anything McAfee. I highly suggest you uninstall it. To further show just how bad it is, as well as using the forums search for simply "McAfee" to see many other users with issues caused by McAfee, it may need a special tool to fully clean from your system.
(just look at all those McAfee childs in the msconfig window. Surely that is all causing issues.

McAfee Product Removal Tool

LogMeIn Hamachi. Has been seen to conflict with Steam/games. Also temporarily uninstall it.
(has the child process LMI Guardian that you can see in msconfig)

Intel Security Service..this is one to watch as it may also be causing issues. Any "Security service" should be considered suspect.

Skype Updater....may conflict with Steam and/or games in some cases. Consider temporarily disabling it in msconfig then "apply" and "ok". Then restart the computer.

You must restart also if you uninstall any software, such as McAfee and LogMeIn Hamachi.

No wonder you have game crashes. I am surprised they will even launch, especially will all those McAfee processes running. Do these steps THEN verify the game files before you playtest a game.

EDIT..I think you missed number 3 in my post above. I don't see a startup tab shot, in case that may be a bit different for some reason than the Task Manager shot. Submit that also, if what was suggested so far (including what the good Seven7 posted below) does not solve the issue.

Intel Security Service is from re-branded McAfee... but there already tonns McAfee products installed

flux - terrible thing, it work like trojan (yes, i know, it for changing light&gamma, but on TN2 LCD its make terrible problems, and with Steam too)

if you don't use DLNA - disable ralink media server(too big hole in security)

since july,11 steam client have problem with most VPM clients, after uninstall, re-build winsocks

Is there a possible way other than disable mcafee because like I dont have the money and my parents don't want to switch. They're telling me that it's the 'websites' (or server) is the problem, I get the gist of what is right and wrong. I'll try to follow but I can't uninstall mcafee :(.

I did not suggest that you disable McAfee. I suggested you totally purge your system of it, as in uninstall and then reboot. I highly suggest you read back over the recent posts more carefully please, including my edit to that post as well as what the good Seven7 posted.

I went to task manager and went to startup I just put it in I just made it into a larger tab so I didn't have to crop out my home screen stuff. Should be second picture.

Well if I get rid of my anti-virus then what do I do then? I got a virus on my old PC like 6 years ago and I really don't want to make the same mistake.
