Disable group invites from non-friends?
So there's a new scam I'm sure everyone with atleast $5 in CS:GO skins has noticed: the fake case opening/gambling/trading websites for CSGO skins.

What they do is make thousands of new accounts and thousands of different new groups that claim to be giving you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, free steam wallet codes, free $10 credit, etc. and then bombard you with atleast 10 invites to these per day.

My main issue is I believe this can be blocked by making my profile private, but I do a lot of trading and buying/selling skins on sites like OP skins so this is not an option for me.

@Valve, please make Steam more user friendly in this aspect.

They can't be disabled at the moment, but you can try setting your inventory or profile to friends only. Leaving groups such as "OPSkins" may help, too. It seems like you're more likely to get spam invites if you're a part of large CS:GO groups.
