The Speed to BAN
Why is it of late these companies are so quick to assist with the only way they know how ? to BAN the player.
A simple in game purchase just a few days ago via steam and the steam web browser turned into a complete ban issued by Steam as the browser lagged and purchased twice. no biggy you would think and easily fixed??

the refund request via steam continued to decline for the second purchase. ok ill go via paypal and request it yep and then all hell breaks loose.

"According to our records, you were not double charged for this purchase. You made two separate purchases for $60 of wallet credit on July 17th.

Please be aware that disputing a charge through your payment provider is not a valid means of obtaining a refund. We encourage you to contact Steam Support in the future to resolve issues with your purchased product. Had you contacted us first, we would have been happy to assist you.

However, since I can see this is an isolated incident I've gone ahead and removed the lock on your Steam account. But due to the dispute, this payment method has now been permanantly banned from use in our system."

Banned from making any transactions was the response for a 1 off request after over 10 years of Steam use

Please click a like on this post as with the bans handed out so quickly I asked for this to be looked at and my second response was the same with nothing from steam support to consider other then a perma ban

I do have full access to all previous purchases however. be careful guys n girls as the bans are getting handed out rather quickly

You requested a chargeback. That is against the SSA. Valve is with in their rights to lock an account and black list the payment method.

A chargeback is not a valid refund. Aside from the money for the product, Valve gets charged up to an added $200 per a chargeback, depending on the banks involved.

The system for this is most likely automated and triggered as soon an a chargeback request is sent.

Hey, do you wait hell? If yes, reverse the chargeback and then well talk about the two purchases.

You may request a refund for Steam Wallet funds within fourteen days of purchase if they were purchased on Steam and if you have not used any of those funds.

How long did you actually wait for a response from steam?

"the refund request via steam continued to decline for the second purchase."

Seems they did, as you have stated.

Not liking the answer is not grounds to commit chargeback fraud[chargebacks911.com].

You are only entitled to a refund if the title in question has no more than 2 hours of play and the purchase is no longer than 14 days old. Disputing a payment is stealing money from Valve. When double charges occur, you contact Steam Support and wait patiently for resolve.
