STEAMGAMES.COM charged 100 dollars from my bank account
STEAMGAMES.COM, according to my bank statement, charged me a total of 100 dollars from my bank account. I sent a ticket to support, and I don't know what to do.

I haven't spent anything on Steam since the 7th and even that didn't total 100 bucks.
Is there anything I should do?

Does it state what you account did in fact purchase ?

What does it say here, concerning that purchase or purchases ?

I've never hear of Steamgames.com and I don't think the site has got anything to do with Steam.

I "think" that is just how Steam purchases appear on a payment method statement. At least that is what I see from my searchn of it here....

Oh okay well I didn't know, only reason I can think of then is someone using his account and buying steam wallet funds with his credit card then.

No worries, and I had to search to doublecheck myself. And you could be right, if the transaction history shows the account made the purchase(s), then someone did it, as you said.

Well the last time I bought anything was the 7th and it wasn't anything near $100.00, according to my transaction history

But if you have your credit card details tied to your account and someone somehow got into your account they'd be able to use the credit card as they wanted on steam.

You can always call your bank and despite the charge. Make sure your Steam account wasn't involved first.

Ok I stand corrected on what I wrote earlier, but why isn't Valve INC the registrar?

Do anyone know?

In my opinion it's a red flag when this is the case with sites that claims to be affiliated with Valve

It's not a site that claims to be affiliated with Valve. Steamgames.com is valve.

I figured that much from the moderator message I recieved.

Anyways

Op, are your account secure? Do anyone else have access to it?

The label doesn't really mean anything. I put through dozens of payments every day via a banking system and the "Destination Account Statement Text" is whatever i want it to be. I could technically change a direct debit for whatever someone is paying to show 'SteamGames.com'.

Your bank would need to check where it has actually gone - destination account details - and see if it can move forwards from there with investigations.

That said, a query with support here wouldn't hurt as they could investigate it from their end too. They even have a direct link to do so : https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithUnknownCharges

Okay, I sent a support ticket in, hopefully that turns up something, if not, it's totally okay.
If someone else that wasn't me really needed a few games, that's totally fine. They could have asked, but I understand why they would do this to my account IF it was someone else that did it.

AFAIK no one else has access to my account. I've removed the credit card info from my account just in case.

Have you checked your account purchase history?

THIS. Please check the link. IF something was bought with the account it WILL BE WRITTEN THERE. So no need to guess, just look it up. https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/
