You've recently funded your Steam Wallet using an unverified credit card that has had a recent increase in use. You can attempt to verify the funds now or wait until the restriction is automatically removed.

I added ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 5 € now i have to wait 5 days till i can buy ♥♥♥♥?? Why the ♥♥♥♥? Btw i can't verify the funds as my bank isnt supporting it or whatever.. I bought some games on christmass sales (like 2 for 10€ each) and added 5€ now i can't buy stuff on steam market? So you gonna penalize people for buying stuff on steam now? Great

Is there a way to 'verify' my credit card so this will never happen again? 'Unverified credit card' what does that even mean? That i didn't send steam my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ picture with my identity card and my credit card in my hands?

I mean... there is no other way than the one linked in the message. If that isn't working, the answer is unfortunately no.

As a Steam user, you are responsible for the actions you take upon owning an account so you need to be considerate that Valve are doing this in order to protect your account from fraud.

Si-Fi there should be a option for all this security ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, People still get scammed even with all the restriction.
The security measures are there precisely to protect the people who would disable it. People will always get scammed, because they allow themselves to get scammed. The only way Valve could protect those users from themselves is to remove trading and the community market entirely. That still wouldn't stop people from losing access to their accounts.

steam market is all you're blocked from, you can still use steam for its primary purpose of buying games. the reason you get blocked is so there's time for a bank to notice a fradulent charge and remove it, because if u buy a market item then sell it to someone else then chargeback or something, steam loses the money and they can't exactly revert all the trades , etc. you have an option to verify, if you can't? then let steam verify in 5 days.

Optional security is pointless security. And this did not really require digging up a thread that has been inactive since January.

This is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb I used a gift card which is literally unable to be verified and now I can't buy the item on the market I want and now the price will go up and I'll have to add even more funds. This is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb, especially since I can still use the steam store

The Market is a peer to peer transaction that requires more security measures than the store.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
