How do i add Steam Overlay on Diablo III?
It works on other non-steam/Blizzard games and i did somehow manage to add the overlay though, but i don't have my characters when i start the game via Steam, but when i start from Bnet then it's all fine...
I have that problem only with Diablo, it works fine with other games like WoW and Overwatch, i have my characters, stuff etc...

That is weird it worked for my friends and I, did you add the D3.exe, or bnet launcher then play from there? We all added the D3.exe and worked perfectly.

That can only happen if you use another Battle.net account as your characters are saved on the Blizzard servers. Not your computer.
Only thing I can think of that might have changed is your region.
On the Diablo III login screen, click on Options. Select the Account tab. In the Region dropdown, select your region. You must log out of the game completely and log back in to change regions.

This.

I remember running into that myself.

Try to add Diablo 3.exe, if all else fails, add "-launch" as the launch option.
EDIT: Ah, you did get it working.

Haha, np I'm glad we figured it out, it's funny that this is the most common issue with Diablo 3. For some reason sometimes it changed the region for no reason (had it happen to me before).

Add the Battle.net.exe and add "battlenet://Pro" as the launch argument.

Beat me to it. <3

Haven't tried this HERE, that people said they had success using. I don't play OW so can't be much help in this.

I turn off Bnet while i play Overwatch, so it doesn't pop out.
Try to open via Steam but close Bnet first, you'll probably have to login in-game but that's all

confirm working method. diablo 3 with steam overlay

add this (exe) to steam as non steam and add -launch at the end :steamhappy:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\x64\Diablo III64.exe" -launch

the only downside is.. everytime diablo 3 opens up.. you need to login manually. thats it.
