how to remove steam restriction?

i cant purchase anything,,i have already 300 pesos worth of steam wallet?why cant i purchase anything i know about the restriction thing but i cant really understand..pls explain thys furthere.thank you

Actually it's enough to just add $5 to your steam wallet - from bank directly and not by redeeming a voucher.

Yeah, Me too. I'm just add balance to my steam wallet (amount $5). And 1 of the restrictions (Purchase or whatever for $5) is gone, now I just need to wait for 7 days (they said)

Making account unlimited is a separate thing from using market place, as it has it own conditions.

Market place conditions is that you need to have a transaction on your account that 7 days old, and not older than 365 days.

That means if you bought something today for first time, you have to count 7 days from now. Example if bought on 1st of July 1PM 2022, you have to wait until 8th of July 1PM 2022. And if want to remain access to market place you need to buy something again before 365th day, if bought on July 1st 2022, need to buy again before July 1st 2023, that simple. There is no fixed amount need to spend, it anything you buy counts, so if bought on December 1st 2022, your new 365 day is now Dec 1st 2023.


Please note of market, and trade holds, if you wish to bypass them to sell on the market, or to trade someone, you need Steam mobile guard app, it confirms your market listing, and trades, as well acts as your account 2FA instead of using email 2FA.

Can I ask some more questions ?
- Whenever I open the friends tab the status i 'Disconnected' and 'Friends Network Unreachable'.
- And when I want to purchase some items in game DoTA2 (for example I want to buy Viper's tail set) when i click it the in-game browser pop ups / appears, but it's not showing anything, and then Error code appears (Looks like I am not connected orsomething).

What can I do to fix it ?
Or I just need to wait 7 days like in the descriptions ?

Ensure your custom firewall if using one, vpn, proxy, custom dns, 3rd party anti virus or etc isn't blocking things, as well 3rd party apps not messing with Steam.

Another thing can try to switch to Steam beta, or if already in it, switch out of Steam beta, can do this from Steam settings.

If all else failes, could try download client, head to where steam installed, go into folder, delete everything except for "steamapp" folder, and "Steam.exe" once done, go ahead and run "Steam.exe" and see if issue been resolved. Hope that helps.

Not sure, I haven't tocuh dota for long time, it could be something messing with client, or something wrong with server sided issue, could try asking in dota 2 sub forum if anyone having same issue as you.

The 7 days would be market place related, that has nothing to do with buying from in-game shop AFAIK.
