You CAN play same game on 2 different computers online at the same time after all.
I dunno if this is part of steams master plan or just oversight but I found out by accident I can play the same game on 2 different PCs if they are not directly linked to the same router AND both are online. Be nice if we had features without hacks or happy accidents ya know…

So you mean to say you can access the same game license on two diffent pcs at the same time?

Really? Without the 2nd pc bumping out the first pc? What game are you testing?

EDIT: Are you just steam in-home streaming and don't know it?

Mmm it’s not streaming it since streaming never worked well for me. Main problem was on a single hub/router even offline mode was saying 1 one of the 3 or 4 games we play right now was in use. The game is Deus ex mankind divided, one PC has a 480 and the game crashes, playing ti a bit on my 760 to try and fig it out. I dunno what managed to allow both to run at once, I know I can do it offline mdoe but both are on online mode and still work. Its strange, then again my PC with the 760 can’t file share via home networking, may just be windose is drunk and needs a reinstall or Kaspersky has disabled something again. LOL
