Family Sharing Expired?
So a couple years ago I started family sharing with a family member that lives in Canada and everything was working alright for me until family sharing just stopped working. It says I need to log in to their account on this computer but they refuse to let me do that for some reason. Does family sharing expire? Why can I not access the shared games anymore?

It doesn't expire but there are 2 possible causes.
1. The other person canceled the sharie.
2. Something on your PC messed up Steams bookkeeping. The imbecils @ Piriform (the makers of CCleaner) love doing that.

since the other person doesn't wanna let you log onto their account entirely possible they canceled allowance of family sharing.

I have been comunicating and they do still want to family share but they dont want me to log into their account on my computer. They did end up cancelling but they activated it again.

Uninstall it. Well, you can tell it to ignore Steams but since its known to cause troubke with Steam, who knows what other programs it also prevents legit operation of.

That reason is simple: If they were to give you their login information and allow you access to their account in that way, this would be a direct violation of the SSA. You may not share accounts.
C. Your Account

When you complete Steam’s registration process, you create a Steam account ("Account"). Your Account may also include billing information you provide to Valve for the purchase of Subscriptions, Content and Services and any physical merchandise offered for purchase through Steam (“Hardware”). You may not reveal, share or otherwise allow others to use your password or Account except as otherwise specifically authorized by Valve.

Yeah thats a good way to get their account suspended. I can imagine they dont want that happening.
