Where to find Steam game Save files?
I need to reinstall windows, but I don't want to lose my saved games. I know you can backup your steam games, but last time I tried that it didn't backup my save games and I had to start everything over again. Does anyone know where to find the steam safe files for all my steam games? :/

That depends on the game.

The easiest way is to use gamesavemanager.

http://www.gamesave-manager.com/

Backup all the saves and then transfer the file.
Alright, thanks for the info, I'll give it a try. Thanks again!

Also, just so you know, you can save your steamapps folder in a thumb drive or other drive and you don't have to reinstall your games or redownload your games after reinstalling Windows.

Save the entire steamapps folder(s), explained here as if uninstalling Steam.

Because you said this...

I don't suggest doing it that way for most users. Do it manually, then you know you have the files. And as stated above, saves are in different places, depending on the game. Some in documents, some in "my games" and some in the game folders themselves.
