Anima videos exists and are popular. If the studio wants to sell videos on Steam, I see no reason why they should not be able to do so.
There is even a video section at the top of the store page along with a movies catagory, episodes and you can even rent movies.

The Vids is available in my region. the game does not.
I am researching on why some game have region lock without any reason.
Because people buy it
You are free not to
Unsurprisingly steam may sell things you don't like but that others do. Shocking
Exactly
Would make sense if its renting a movie.
Others apparently have no issues with it
Looking at his profile and replies, he obviously isn't offended by that.
He just wonders why they'd sell it on a platform like Steam and why anyone would buy it when there are way better alternatives for this.
The "You're free to ignore it" argument had never any power to begin with. People will always question or criticize even the most pointless things, so there's no point in telling them that.
