Killing the process during the game before exitting it or after quitting it you mean?
Because I'm pretty sure I did the second option without success.
But I will try the first one.
I will try again then!
Will tell if it works.
Thanks.
I will try. But last time I killed all processes except windows ones, and the problem was still here. But I will try to see if one process pop or something during this time I may have missed.
Yeah I know that. that's why I desactivated it on some games.
I tested to check if there was a process during the game that could make the problems. But except the game itself, nothing appeared.
Still I got the problems after I exitted the game.
Which is why I don't understand too after the game :
My cpu is 5% full, RAM is 35%, yet the computer is still slower than before it and some softwares clearly show it (not responding for 5sec when saving for example).
I think I actually found the problem.
It's Avast and it's new "gaming hook"
I wasn't able to kill the process but I uninstalled it via Avast itself because I noticed it was strangely not stopping after the game.
And right now, I tested it, and it seems it fixed the problem!
Going to test again a little and see if it's really that.
Be right back!
I think we found the problem.
I did a whole session of PUBG exited and all works fine!
It even made the game works clearly BETTER!!! What a joke for a "gaming hook" / gaming boost thingy
Thanks all for the help! :)
How can you have same issue then you dont have the app.
It's Avast and it's new "gaming hook"
make own thread, if you dont have a app that do same thingy, you cant have same issue, just because you think you have same and get a slow down effect , what if pc is full no free storage left, then such feel like slow will happend.
and to OP you dont force a exit that can cause even worse things, like corrupted save files that sync to cloud and then you can kiss game byebye if this is a 1 slot save game. some games do that.
this is a Avast issue only , and thats why noone else had a clue.
take it to avast support. Not really rest of the world problem, dont get me wrong here nice to see the post , but nothing we can do about it, here.
It's been 3 years! I don't even have the same computer.
But yeah it was Avast if you read the whole discussion, so if you don't have it, it's something else, can't help you there, sorry!
