Revoke Scammers
I want to buy a steam gift on this account, but want use it on my second account. So if I buy gift on this account, send the gift to the other one and later the gift gets revoked, can I still count on help and my items to return to me?

I don't see why it would be revoked if you buy it from the store though.

If they are both your accounts, why do you need to revoke or return any items?

So you are buying it from the store, and both are your accounts.. so why are you scared? you are totally safe bro!

If the gift gets revoked, the account you bought the gift on will get restricted and you won't he able to use the payment method on Steam ever again. Don't bother counting on help either.

Even if it was just one account, Valve does not restore scammed items.

When trading for a game, make sure it goes in the trade window. That means the game has to have been purchased 30 days ago. This will minimize the chance of it being revoked.

If you participate in those kind of trades you won't get help if something goes wrong.

What trade? Haven't you said both accounts are yours?

So if I give my keys for a steam gift, in a normal steam trade that should be safe, the guy who got my keys can just revoke gift and I get no help? Remove trading gifts then.

I'm guessing he means he wants to buy a game from some random Joe and then transfer it to an alt account in order to prevent random Joe from being successful in a chargeback.

Which is not going to work. Buy games from the Steam store only and you will have zero problems.

Even if you trade keys for skins or skins for skins, it would be the same situation.

Valve does not restore scammed items.

Didn't know skins and keys can be revoked.
Also some people on the internet say that they can give items back from revoke scam, it's hard to bellive that when you get scammed when you traded Steam gift for steam items on steam trade, then steam gives you a middle finger for obeying the steam trade rules.

They can't, but if they are scammed or the account is hijacked, they are not restored.

Like I said, make sure it goes in the trade window for a single trade. That will minimize the chances of it being revoked.

Don't do a "gift" for a "gift" because as far as Valve is concerned, it one would have to agree it was a gift during the process and that they would not be getting anything in return.

Just remove this thread, I'm gonna start it all over.

No. There is no reason to remove it. The answer won't change.

Items will not be restored, reguardless of the situation or how they were traded.
