How do I enter an Amazon code into Steam???????????????????

I purchased Baldur's Gate through amazon and I cannot for the life of me find a way to add it to Steam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help me!!!!!!!!! I emailed support but have not heard back!!!!!!!1

Sorry that is no help! I can't find a way to enter my code anywhere on here? Everywhere I look online it says to go to games and find the add a game button or Library button and click add a game but I cannot find either!

That means you are logging into the web, not the client. You need to be sure to install the client and login that way.

There are three ways to access your account, but only one of them will allow you to play games:

web using chrome, IE, etc.
client (only way to play games)
phone app

So when I launch the client all I get is a refreshing server list

So now what? How do I get to a screen where I can enter my game code?

Download the Steam client.
Install the Steam client.
Start the Steam client.
Log into the Steam client with the same credentials as on the Steam website.
In the client options choose " Add a product to Steam".
On the field that pops up enter your serial key. You will get a message that the game has been added to your Steam Library.
In your client library press the big green INSTALL button next to the game. After its finished downloading it changes to PLAY.
Press PLAY and enjoy your game.
