I just want to see what games I own...
I just spend 10 mins trying to find a list of all the games I bought on Steam. I figured it would be obvious like clicking on my username and selecting "library" but no, no such luck.

I'm doing this through the steam website and I don't have the steam client installed because I'm on my work computer. So is it possible to see what games you own through the web interface without having steam installed?

Am I asking for too much? Is it that complicated?

https://steamcommunity.com/my/games/?tab=all

That is all the games you own on the account you are posting from.

If you go to your profile and click on ''Games'' you should be able to see a list of all the titles you own, free to play included.

Alternatively, you can click on the arrow next to your username in the upper right corner (near notifications and account balance) and go to ''Account details...'', from there you'll be able to see all the games added to your account, as well as the method they've been added with (store purchase, key activation etc.)

OK, thanks... didn't realize it wasn't directly accessible from the homepage.

Ok I agree with this guy. I wonder if the people above saying there is a games tab are in the USA? I'm in Canada and there is no "games" on the right bar, under profile. I was going to add a pic here but it won't let me. If I click on the arrow next to my account name and go to account details, it brings me to a page with Store and Purchase history (where you can find what you own but not like the link above), contact info and account security. In fact I'm about to give up trying to find how to get to that page that that link above gets me to. This link: https://steamcommunity.com/my/games/?tab=all There is no place that I can find on my web interface to get there. Should be WAY easier than this.

Go to your profile, it is listed there.

Ok after another long click around, yes I found it on my own, then lost it again, then this comment about going to your profile, I found it, thanks! Still - it should be way easier than this. I just expected that almost the first thing I see when I log in should be all my games.

That page is only viewable by manually going there. You can start Steam on your Library page by choosing that in the settings.

Thank you, Eludium! 👍
I gave up looking for my games last week via the browser and had to open the local client instead. Hiding my list of games two pages away is ridiculous. Which games I own should be accessible via a quick link directly under my username, and it should be as easy if not easier to find than "Content" and "Badges", neither of which I even use.

I'd like to think that at least 99.999999% of people are capable of finding their games list in their own profile.

This is true, but let's be fair here. Sometimes when we use a system, device or anytihng and get used to a routine where you only use certain functions repeatedly, it can REALLY throw you off when you actually want to do something different.

I suspect a lot of it is down to how the brain works. If we were trying to do something on a completely new system, we'd view the pages evenly and in detail. But when you've been using it a lot for the regularl stuff, you have a natural tendency to skip stuff.

And ♥♥♥♥ knows, I'm really good at missing obvious stuff.

Steam. Games. Why is it so hard to find? Don't you all find this ridiculous?

You'd be surprised what human nature does. Don't be so keen to dismiss this as obvious.

Cute. But if you read my originl post it was to display my game list on the website, not the Steam Client.

So basicaly Steam -> (Your username) -> Profile -> Games

If you are in a area like mine you would click on "LIBRARY" then you will see all your games.

Because this was a PITA with my 140 IQ to find my owned games hidden many clicks away, and it shows only 3 of my 29 owned games... this is absolutely stupid.

This thread was started 4 years ago when the client window looked considerably different.

I'd suggest you put a few of those points into "familiarizing yourself" with new things. When they changed the library layout a lot of people complained bitterly but frankly it's way way easier to navigate now than it was when the thread was new...

If you know you own - PAID FOR - 29 games, check your account's purchase and gift history. (that's "your name, account details") if they aren't there, you're on the wrong account. If they're FREE games, go to their store page and reinstall them, they won't show up if they aren't installed.
