So far, Rust is the only survival+dinosaurs+zombies+buzzwords+somethingsomething that I haven't regretted purchasing. I would recommend waiting for a Rust sale.
Also, there's always Minecraft.
Early Access, but it's free. Survival, MMO, weird creatures/monsters, pretty big world, no crafting that I know of.
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead[cataclysmdda.org], it's great if you prefer in-depth game mechanics over graphics (because who cares, it's full of content & player choice dude).
