Missing game in library

I recently noticed that CS:GO was no longer in my steeam library. I had gotten the game initially through a code that I received in a gamestop purchase of a steam controller. he code worked and I was able to play the game. I only recently noticed its absence in my library. I have only one steam account and nothing couldve possibly happened with my computer because it hasn't ever had any issues. yup. sorry for complaining so much.

Did you or someone using your account delete the game from your library using that feature that allows to do that ?

no, I've only shared my library with one other person but he owns his own copy of the game and wouldn't need to use mine. (sorry this is an annoying issue btw)

Did you use the link ? Did you try to find out from the menu what happened to the game ?

If there is no history of it on this account at all, it is starting to sound like you are on the wrong account.

If the key was revoked due to it being obtained from a shady website or source, we cannot know that here. All we can do is post suggestions and advice and ways to check.

I probably sound really stupid but I wasn't sure how to quite go to what you wanted me to. I'm not really familiar with steam completely. I got the code for the game from a purchase of a steam controller at a gamestop and it was working perfectly fine until it was no longer in my library

Yes, and that sounds like a legitimate way to get the code and that should not be a problem. That is why I am really thinking you are on the wrong account.

Search your emails and make sure. We see these cases here more often than you can imagine. The users always swear they don't, and it ends up they do have another account.

I am not saying that is for sure the case, but it often is.

there isn't any emails regarding another steam account. I accessed an old account on an email I no longer use but the library is empty. I don't have any other account it could possibly be on besides this one.

all the filters are set correctly and there isn't any other topic there that matches my issues. i'll just either find a way to contact steam directly or purchase the game again. thank you for all your help though ;)

You seem to have read through that pretty quickly. And there is also alot linked in blue also. Did you check all that ?

For example........

You can use the Help site to figure out if you have other accounts associated with your email address or phone number. Follow the steps to find your accounts and recover them if you no longer remember the password.

I had checked through that earlier on before posting this and couldn't really get anything out of it which is why I posted this.
