Content Servers Unreacheable
It's more than a month that I have this issue: I can't download or update a single game that I get this error message.

I tried to clear the download cache, swapped to all servers in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server list, reinstalled Steam multiple times and checked for incompatibility issue, not any of the things I found solved the issue!

Please tell me if I missed any other possible solution and I'll tell you how it goes.

Just make sure you have Steam and games as exceptions in Avast, but yea, AVG is a bad one.

If you have the same problem, it means you have the error message "content servers unreachable", which also would suggest you should answer the questions in the first reply, please.

Alright, here's what I've done:

-I found out that none of my family members that are readily aviable know the credentials to get in the provider's account and that means I can't disable that pesky offer;
-I tried to disable the firewall protection (hoping the offer had something to do with it) but nothing changed;
-I checked again if Avast had something against Steam but it seems to be cool between them;
-I also screwed up with my ADSL and had to reconfigure it with an ethernet cable I had to go out and buy, but I'm at least now happy (or sad) to inform my stupidity has nothing to do with the issue.

I guess my only remaining option is to try get the access to the user options in some way, but at least I now think to know what's the issue. Thanks for the help.

You are welcome, and thanks for the update to your thread here. I am pretty sure that you will find that feature of Vodafone is your issue, especially as you can see it happened to those other users for a while also, as it seems in your case like you said.

If you find out that Vodafone Secure feature is not causing it, after you disable or remove it or whathaveyou, feel free to reply and we can try other suggestions maybe. Thanks again.

This is a action from "bad website filtering" :( its your internet security firewall :) hope this helps correct the issue.
