The stupid App won't let me trade or sell items!!

I've been trying to trade and sell some items to get an item that I want in TF2, but this stupid app won't let me. It made me set up the authenticator thing, but when I tried to trade or sell it put me on hold for 15 days!!! I am really stressed out about this!! Somebody please just let me freaking trade and sell!! I got the stupid app and authenticator!! Just let me trade and sell for crying out loud!!!!!!

I try to sell off a crate, and it puts me on hold, even though I have the authenitcator crap on my phone. I authenticate it, and it still won't let me sell it!! I close it down and try it again, and the same thing happens!! Please somebody help I hate this stupid setup!! Why do I have to wait 15 freaking days just to trade a Sandman to get an Atomizer?!?! Why do I have to wait 15 days just to sell a crate that I'm selling for 57 cents?!?!?!?!? Somebody help me please!!

Mobile Authenticator Added

A Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator provides additional security for your account. Adding an authenticator does not immediately remove existing restrictions. Trades created within the first 7 days of adding the authenticator will still have up to a 15 day trade hold. This allows your items to still be protected and gives you time to recover your account if a malicious actor were to ever add an authenticator to your account.

If your account was already protected by Steam Guard via email, you will have no new restrictions from using trading or the Community Market. If your account was not protected by Steam Guard via email or mobile app, you will be restricted from using trading and the Community Market for 15 days because Steam Guard has been recently enabled.

no. DURING THE FIRST 7 DAYS you will still have 15 day holds.

Need some help, I've had the steam mobile app authenticator from the moment steam required it... When I tried to trade my csgo skins to a third party website (skinport), I received this:

"In order for us to trade with you without restrictions, it is required that your Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator is enabled on your Steam account for at least 15 days. Before that we unfortunately cannot send you a trade offer, otherwise the trade will be withheld for 7 days by Steam."

Ummm.. will this restriction ever be lifted? Only reason I am asking is because I have had the Steam Mobile authenticator on my phone for months.. This would be the first trade I am doing with it applied though.

You would have to take that up with the third party website, and that is not supported trading anyway, concerning Steam trading and any help we can give here.

The way the restriction works on Steam was explained in the thread.
