Steam not recognizing I have purchased DLC, won't download
Hey I'm having a problem with steam recognizing my DLC purchased for Skyrim. I bought Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn, yet none of them have started downloading. I have the install boxed checked on all of them but they're still not downloading.

I have restarted steam, run as admin, restarted my computer, cleared the download cache, and verified game integrity. When I verify game integrity the bar just hangs and never completes. If anyone could help me out with this it'd be great.

I really don't want to have to resort to reinstalling the game because I've already downloaded mods and don't want to have to go installing the game again on poor internet connection.

did your payment go through properly/has your bank paid steam yet/etc?

That will tell you if the purchase was successful/pending/failed. Pending means that your payment has not been received by Valve.

This sounds like you are actually having an issue with downloading the content, and not actually a purchase issue.

Can you clarify, please ? Especially since you said you have the boxes checked.

Is the core game modded now ? If so, you have to get help on a modded game in the Skyrim forum, please.

Fixed the problem myself. Solution was to shut down and leave it shut down for a full minute. (Do not just click restart).

I'm having this issue as well. Do I just shut my pc off for a little bit and it should be there when I open Skyrim again?

You do not seem to own any Skyrim DLC other than the High Resolution Texture Pack.

No.

If the DLC, or game not apparing on Steam client, you restart the client, then page should update.

For DLC's not showing up in your games, this is depending how the game dev set up their games. For Skyrim case, you need to download the game content, to gain access to it, in order to do this, ensure that the DLC are enable on Steam client to download your DLC to your game, then once that finish, launch Skyrim launcher, then click on Data files, and ensure that the DLC is enable, if it not enable that be reason why not showing.
