In this forum, it may be that no one owns that game, as this is for Steam issues. Just a suggestion.
C:\Users\ ... \Documents\Klei
Find settings.ini and delete it, relaunch the game, settings should all be defaults again.
Good to know, I actually took a wild guess on that one.
But seeing as how pretty much every game made by KLEI they are having the settings files and such go into that folder + game name sub-folder; it seemed safe to assume it would all be there.
For basically any Retail-Disc or Steam Game; these are the most obvious places to look for files outside of main game files; things like profile data, settings configs, saved-game files, etc.
C:\Users\ ... \Documents
C:\Users\ ... \Documents\My Games
C:\Users\ ... \Saved Games

C:\Users\Public

%appdata%
^ Look in the sub-folders of these.
For AppData, that is all hidden by default.
To gain easy access to that folder structure, press Winkey+R and type %appdata% and click OK. Once there, look on the main AppData at the top to get to that main folder. To make AppData always show in User Folders Listing (in Explorer, as a sub-folder to your user folders); go to Folder Options in Windows and change to these:
> *tick* Show hidden files, folder, drives
> *un-tick* Hide file extensions
For others like Origin or Uplay, those locations may differ.
Origin pretty much does it like Steam does with regards to the above files/folders.
However Uplay usually does it differently, such as using this folder structure:
C:\ ... \Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames
I had to basically find the drive where my Steam games are installed. (I have 7 drives). If you have one drive it's (usually) under Users\(~username here)\Steam
I have a dedicated drive just for Steam game files.
Short answer, if you have Windows 7 or later, trust the indexing. Click on the drive, do a search for all the game files and delete it all.
The saved game files and the config files are usually stored elsewhere to which the installer never touches because those files are something the game itself created in a different folder. Most games house these files in your Documents folder or AppData folder structures. Delete the game's config file, then relaunch the game and the game will now load up with all the defaults for visual settings, controls, etc.
