Gifting games from the steam library.
I don't intend to gift any of my games to friends or family so they can play without paying for it but I only have one problem. When i bought Stardew Valley I forgot I was on my brothers account and I have to family share it. Recently, I got my own laptop and when I have tried to play it on family share I can't because he's playing games from his library. Im just hoping that somehow I will be able to get it onto my account. Is there anyone I can talk to to get this better or not?

Not possible. Your only solution would've been refunding the game and buying in your account but I suppose, you're above the refund limit now.

you wont be able to move the game to a different account,
once a game is linked to an account thats it.

if you have played it less than 2 hours and had it less than 2 weeks
you could refund it and buy it on your account.

to avoid the family share lockout, start your steam in offline mode then launch the game.
Once a game is on a account it's there for good, only way to get it is to pay for it again on your account or familt share it, but you said he's on it (prob a lot) so only bet is to buy again.

When I got the game I had no idea you could refund. I thought it was there for good. And on weekends my brother starts playing at about 10am to 1pm and stops playing the next day in the morning at 4am. Occasionally he let me play for a few hours on one day, and if im really lucky he'll let me play all day or for a few hours on both days.
The fact remains that you will need to repurchase the game for your own account. Steam does not move games between libraries, and you are outside the refund limits.
