Right click on game in library > select properties > select local files > select verify integrity of game cache

Usually, this error results from security software such as antivirus quarantining the .exe for the game, and therefore making it go 'missing'.

What is your antivirus program ?

Yea, if that is the case, that should be taken care of first before the verification so as hopefully, it won't just go missing again. Thanks. :steamhappy:

I said security software "such as" antivirus.

That was just an example. You should be allowing Steam and games fully through your Firewall as exceptions.

What is that firewall ? Are we talking about Windows Firewall ?

Yes because it the game Space engineers that doesent work

Not having the supported OS can cause this error also.

What is your operating system and is that OS 32 or 64 bit ?

EDIT..The game requires a 64 bit OS.

MINIMUM:
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 (latest SP) 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2.0 GHz (or AMD equivalent)
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT / ATI Radeon HD 3870 / Intel HD Graphics 4000
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 10 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX® compatible on-board
Additional Notes: NOTE: The minimum requirements are sufficient to run the game but without planetary features.

You don't seem to be answering questions here, or fully answering them at least.

What is the OS ?

AND is that OS 32 or 64 bit was the questions last presented. You answered half of that.

Then, you seem to have ignored this.........

Because you replied with this....

Which does not answer that.

So are you allowing Steam and games fully through that Windows Firewall ?

Have you checked your settings to make sure they are allowing them all fully through ?

If yes is the answer to those BOTH, then try this...

If that does not help, post screenshots of all of your installed programs on that computer, please. Each and every program. Thanks.
