I asked for an answer, not a link.
that is the answer
PS4 games work on a PS4.
PS3 games work on a PS3.
XBox One games work on an Xbox One.
PS games work on a PC, though there are diffrent OSs.
If you want it on PS4, then you need to buy it on PS4.
I have a PS4, some games that are for PS3 work for PS4, so I was wondering if I had Need For Speed Rivals for PS3, but just got a PS4, would I be able to play it on said PS4?
No, PS3 games will not work on a PS4. Sony may have included a PS4 copy with a digital PS3 purchase, but that is not a common practice and does not work with a physical copy.
A physical PS3 disk will not work in a PS4.
This is the correct answer. I suggest using the Playstation forums for future questions about said system.
