so i wanted to download a game called TROVE, and i did, it installed trove, and it also installed a thing called GLYPH, and then glyph tried to install other stuff, but it asked for permission.

Are you getting an error ?

I see at least one pinned thread in the game's forum that may help on that issue. See the others also, or search that forum using the search box to see if you can find info maybe that way.

Glyph is the client that trion worlds uses for their games.

Trove does not require Steam. Trove is produced by Trion. Glyph is the launcher application that Trion uses to start all of their games. Glyph does not require Steam. bu it is required to run Trove.

Those are required... a ton of games require them, and you already have parts on your computer. You could always google anything to learn more..

You will find that just about every game will install those 2 items. Even steam games do
