Could i Activate a Steam Key in the UK?

I could get an australian $5 Key but would i be capable of activating it in the UK or would it give me some form of error?

I think austrila keys are reguin locked

Should be no problem unless the key is explicitly marked as region locked to Australia.
In general you can activate steam keys anywhere in the world, with the exception of region locked keys from regions like Russia, South America or China where games are much cheaper.

Yes the situation is i can recive a $5 gift card Code for steam but its australian or a £5 Code for amazon which will definatly work.
