Not working in offline mode

I was playing football manager 2017 happily last night on offline mode how ever tonight I have tried to play it again and now my steam account won't open on offline mode so I can't play it at all. I don't have a internet connection in my house yet as I've just moved in hope I don't have to wait until then to get back onto my classic man united save. Can anyone help?

Same problem here since the last update offline mode is crippled amd mothing will run unless steam is online. Bloody annoying when you dont have an internet connection.

I found a solution. Change the computer dete to before 14th June 2017.
I simply changed the year on my PC to 2016 and Steam worked in offline mode.
Crazy solution.

That is exactly what is explained in my link above your post. Hopefully, you did not have to wait too long before you found this solution. It was said in the first linked thread that Valve is aware of the issue and working on it. Thanks.

I know but I had great difficulty finiding an answer so I though I'd post it to make it clear.
