Games run in background then crash
When I try to start my game it runs in the background as a process then crashes.
I've tried everything steam says to do, I've tried verifying the game cache, deleting the .blob file, updating windows, windowed launch command, pretty much everything I could find. Can anyone help me?

I'm not sure how to find my installed programs (I'm not good with computers, sorry!)
I use windows 10.
No worries, as it matters what your OS is as to where you find them. In Windows 10, pretty sure they are called "apps".

You are probably going to have to take multiple shots as the list will surely be too long for one shot.

Also, keep in mind what I said about Kaspersky. When your dad gets home, that needs to be taken care of. What else we do right now may not help until that is taken care of but we can still look.

Took the screenshots. Can I upload more than one at a time? like a gallery kinda thing?

You can upload the screenshots to a file hosting site like imgur.com and post the links here. Be sure your Steam login is not visible in the shots, so cover that up if that applies.

IOBit Uninstaller.

What is that for ? Some IObit software does not get along with Steam.

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9828-SFLZ-9289

Skype

May also have child processes that run in the background such as "Skype Updater". It is on the list .

NOW I see a real issue.....

Advanced Systems Care.

That is on the list in bold, and with a green symbol. PLUS you have that and other security software such as Kaspersky installed on the same computer, and surely they conflict with each other and Steam and games also.

You can only have one antivirus program installed on the same computer, as otherwise you get issues like this surely.

Okay. I'll ask my dad about it when he's home. Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it.

You are welcome. That IOBit Uninstaller is probably a part of Advanced System Care, and probably used to uninstall the software.

Be sure you restart the computer after uninstalling any software from it, and then you have to verify the game files for any and all games that were affected.

See, you have to fix the problem that causes the game files to need verifying before you actually verify them. Otherwise, the problem just happens all over again.

I'm having the same issue on a fresh installation of Win10 Pro with no AV and it was working flawlessly prior.

Game files verified, blob file removed, /Windows reinstalled/, nothing works.

If I look at the individual crash logs for the games, they merely reference the game binary not being found when it is ever so clearly there.
