Can't return gifted game
I was gifted a game (Playerunknown's Battlegrounds) but I can't use it on my computer (not 64-bit). I redeemed the gift already, and only got the notification that it was incompatible when I tried to install. When I try to visit Steam Support for a refund, it doesn't show up in the list of recent games or gifts (because it's not installed, because I can't install it) so I can't get to the refund request page. I keep going in endless loops on the support page and can't create any kind of help ticket or email. I don't have a "Steam support account" and can't seem to create one. I have been online for an hour now trying to find how to get actual help if your problem doesn't show up on their lousy support page.
My friend is unable to request the refund unless I initiate the refund request. I can't get to the refund page, so I can't initiate. PLEASE HELP

you're welcome!

next time you have this problem, scroll down to the bottom of the support page. there is a search bar for you to enter any game or question you like.

I typed in my problem many times in man different ways. At no point ever did the results list include any kind of support or contact info. That's why I said I was going in endless loops.

On that page it seems that the person that gifted the game has to do the refund .

He said " i was gifted " , not i gifted a game . The person that gave him the game has to initiate the request first

no.

the other way around.

Note: To request a refund on a Steam Gift, we will need the gift recipient to first initiate the refund and approve the removal of this purchase from their account.

The recipient has to initiate the refund process.

Refunds on Gifts

Unredeemed gifts may be refunded within the standard 14-day/two-hour refund period. Redeemed gifts may be refunded under the same conditions if the gift recipient initiates the refund. Funds used to purchase the gift will be returned to the original purchaser.
