How to get different CD-key when re-purchase a Game in Steam
Hi, shortly I wanted to re-purchase my GTA V (of course after delete it permanently from my game list). But when I tried to delete it, there is a note saying "In order to play the game u have o re-purchase and the CD key u will get is not different than ur old CD key".

So, the question is how can I get another CD key for my account? I get my GTA V via Gift from my friend and now I got some issues with my Rockstar account, so I have to create a new one and in order to do that I have to put a new CD key. Since 1 CD key = 1 Rockstar Account. I already mail Rockstar support in order to unlink my Rockstar acc with my steam acc but they cant help with this issue.

So the only way to do it I have to delete GTA V from my game list permanently (Not just uninstalling) and then buy a new one to get a new CD key. But how to get a new CD key? since if I get a same one it will be useless since its already linked permanently to my old Rockstar account that have issue.

Please help me with this, I just need a new CD key, and I don't mind to re-purchase it. I just wanted to play the game in this steam account rather than making a new steam account. Thanks

You can readd the game via the same method that you 'permanently removed' it from.

You need a new Steam account as your current CD Key is permanently bound to your Steam account, even if the game is removed and re-purchased, you will keep your current key.

If you want the game on Steam you will need a new Steam account.

Your other option is to resolve your Rockstar Social Club issues so you can continue to use your old key.

If you've cheated however the first is the only option though.

Can I remove my game PERMANENTLY, and then buy a GTA V Retail then use a feature "activate a product on steam" using my retail CD key??

I that possible? I cannot solve my issue with rockstar.
I never do cheat on online. but i have mod in my GTA V installation folder thats why rockstar anti-cheat system detect me cheating in online. but i didnt do that in online at all. I already contacted rockstar about this and they just keep saying I'm using mod in ONLINE.

what did u mean??
I removed it using delete this game permanently, and if I add the game back (re-purchase) via steam, it will give me same key code.

No. Retail GTA V keys are for Rockstar Social Club not Steam.

Aw, is there any way to just wipe my GTA V history from my steam account. So I can just buy it again and play it like the first time I purchase this game.
anyone know how can I submit a ticket to steam about my issue??

He means that the game is not really gone. If you go to the Support page , choose the game and choose " This game is not on my account" then Steam restores the game back to your account.
Its more of an advanced "hidden" feature, thats why you get the same key again if you buy it again. All that does is restoring this "hidden" version you already had.

Ohh I see, so is that possible to rid my game premanently, even via steam support ticket?
I would like to know if there is any way to submit a ticket to steam regarding this issue

You will not be able to get a new key. Period. Even if support removes the game permanently, you have THAT key forever.

No.

Keys can not be removed from the account in case the account was used for cheating. This ensures someone can't keep cheating on the same account over and over.

No. There is no way to do what you want to do. I don't know how many different people have to give you the same respond for you to get it.

Any given Steam account can only have one Rockstar Social Club key associated with it for GTA V period. There is no way to get around the ban on your account.

You have to buy the game outside Steam. Or buy it for a new Steam account.

Ohh, I see. thanks for the information guys. Since last time I talk to Rockstar they said there is a Unlink abilities they can provide for me. But they cant do it since my Rockstar already banned.

Thats why I tought if Steam can restart my account so I can purchase a new CD key then link it to a new rockstar account. I think i will buy the GTA V using a new steam account now. Thank you for the information guys..

what if I buy the steam version when I have the retail version? Can I use the same social club account linking it to steam? There will be a key which would be unused and can be used by another one as a retail cd key?
