How to install custom skins for steam interface?

I saw this video and some guy had a different looking steam. How can I get custom steam skins and can they get me banned?

You won't get banned for having a Steam skin, you can google for Steam skins and you'll get some good sites that have a bunch, there are all so Steam groups that have them or guides that have updated skins for Steam.

When you find a skin you want to use you\ll want to copy the folder into your Steam>Skins folder then restart your app. Once you are back in go to Steam setting>Interface>"select skin", each time you choose a new skin you'll have to restart your client.

Win - Example: /Program Files/Steam/skins/skinname/
Mac - Example: /Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Steam/skins/skinname/
Linux - Example: ~/.local/share/Steam/skins/skinname/

Guide In this you'll want to navigate to the Skin section, you should check out METRO first as I think it's the best skin for Steam and is updated still.
