How can I complain or ask questions to steam?
Hello.

Recently I had some issues and wanted to ask some questions to steam.
But I couldn't find any contact email address and concluded that there is no other way than to use "steam support" page.
But steam support page doesn't have a classification for my issue.
And the support page doesn't give any contact email for those like me.
I spent so much time to figure out the way I can contact to Steam, so I'm a bit upset.

What can I do when I have an issue that is not on the support page, or have a question to Steam?
Is it recommanded to use this forum?
Does Steam answer to the questions or unclassified issues on forum?
If support team replies to the questions on forum, does it reply to the articles of localized language, like articles written in Korean or Japanesse?

I fully understand it is very costly to have contact email and reply all the questions, because there are so many users for steam.
And I also understand to have support team in multiple languages is quite hard and costly too.
But I think Steam do need to have contact adress and consider customers who can't use English.

so, plz let me know,

1) Whether there is a contact email adress or not.
(,or I was too silly that couldn't find contact adress and complaining pointlessly.)

2) The proper place to complain or ask question. -Is it forum?

Thank you.

You should only use Steam Support when you have an account-related issue. These forums, Support articles and game forums usually cover the rest. You can only reach them via the Help section. You navigate it and either be given an option to self-resolve the issue or submit a ticket.

@gwait Thank you for your kind answer.
can you give me clue what is "submit a ticket"?.
Is that something that I can directly contact to the steam support team?

You will find all high traffic websites will design their Support Forum in around about way...

Customers are silly creatures, who honestly love to jump into communication with a real person when it comes to support. Fair enough right? However, with such a high load, some basic questions could of been just resolved themselves without the waste of supports time/effort. Otherwise you get spammed and buried in requests, slower down resolving the larger problems as well.

So they design it via leading the customer to FAQs in regards to their question first, etc. Quite a few people then figure it out themselves if it's a minor thing or commonly known and don't need to create the support ticket, reducing overall load.

The idea is they want you to dig down, rather than having such a direct route.

Steam Support: https://help.steampowered.com

You will need to sign in (it's not your steam login, so create an account if you haven't already)

It will attempt a self-help guide for the customer, to actually contact requires going via it, then on the right side, clicking the contact button (that's the submit a ticket). A support ticket is then assigned to you.

Yes, you contact Support by submitting a ticket. That is the only way to contact Support.
You can submit a ticket by using help.steampowered.com

Yes. You submit a "ticket" which gets looked at by the Support team and they respond to it.

The first place to ask a question is in the forums or to read the FAQs.

Support is for billing and account issues. They are unlikely to assist with other issues or questions that have an answer in the FAQs.

They are not bot replies they are just pre formulated replies. Support is way to busy to go into personal conversation with every ticket. If your ticket can be answered by an template answer you will get that. Does not mean that nobody looked at your ticket.
