Webroot virus warning
So, Executive Assault, Verdun, Heroes of The West mod, and Factoro have been marked as Trojans on my PC by Webroot. Anyone else having this issue? I'm highly expecting a false positive, haven't downloaded a thing in months. Verdun have also given me false positives before.

You can always upload the executable on http://virustotal.com and see what other programs say.

It's probably a false positive anyway, as you say.

Gonna have to try out that website.

Yeah, really hoping (and assuming) its a false positive. If they are really trojans, it'll be very easy to notice.

Thank you for the help!
Yeah i got the same thing this morning when updating Factorio but it seems to be a false positive casued by a webroot update since its also showing POE and abunch of other small apps as being W32.Trojan.Gen and none of my other scans or virustotal are picking it up.
Webroot basically went ape on my PC. It's marking everything in c:\windows\system32. I've uploaded about 20 things to VirusTotal and the only thing that catches it on VirusTotal is Webroot. I'm thinking Webroot has just gotten screwed up today somehow.

Webroot is working on it:

Thank you two for the information, its good to hear that I'm not the only one having the problem and that they are working on it.
What made you choose to use Webroot AV? legit question.
Some Webroot software does not get along with Steam. For example, here in bold and with a green symbol....

Anti-Spyware Applications

(snip)

Webroot Spy Sweeper *

So it surely is a false positive. The question I would be asking is, why you do not have those games in your OP, as well as all games and Steam itself, set in the ignore list for real-time scanning for Webroot ?

From the same page......

Anti-Virus Applications - Any Anti-Virus program could potentially block Steam and Steam game access, especially when not properly configured for use with Steam. Please make sure that Steam and all Steam games are listed as exceptions in these programs. If the issue persists, please try disabling or temporarily uninstalling the program to test the issue.
