What happens if I uninstall Steam?
I wanna know if my games and stuff will be kept even I un-installed the game. Since I just bought a new PC today. Hopefully the uninstall won't lose my games and in-game items.

When you log into your Steam account from a new computer, your account will still have all the items in your inventory and games in your library (except maybe free to play games, you might have to go to their store pages to download them again).

Make sure you log into the correct account. Some people think they lost games because they logged into a second account that they have. They often didn't even realize they had two accounts.

When uninstalling Steam, it is highly necessary to keep or backup the steamapps folder. Uninstalling Steam without following this step will cause you to have to redownload games that you already downloaded, and that takes time and for some, data on their end due to ISP limitations.

See this, please.....

I'm actually keeping my already existing, full donwloaded games from Steam so that I don't have to wait for it to download the games again.

Just be sure it is the entire steamapps folder. We see many post here that say they simply saved the common folder, or the game folders. But the steamapps folder has the necessary .acf files in it for Steam to recognize your games as installed. So just wanted to be sure you knew about that in case. Thanks.
