Failed to create D3D device !!!!!

Hi,

Recently about two days ago I tried to change my aspect ratio to native 16:9. This caused the game to go haywire and not load at all so what i did was forced shutdown and re-opened.

I got this probelm with it not opening and saying 'Failed to create D3D device' and a website link which does not exist ?!?!!

I have looked on loads of forums and tried everything from.
- Uninstalling and re-installing CSGO twice ! (The second time i went into steam folders and completely removed any CSGO folders in there)
- Update GFX driver.
- Set launch options to dxdiag 90.

And they all still dont work.

Can any1 shed any light on this topic because I really need and want to get back on

Yes, DirectX is a Graphics API that is used with a lot of games such as Grand Theft Auto V, you must have it to play the game and many others, download and install it, and restart your computer.

In steam click Help>System Information. Then right click the text and click "copy all text to clipboard" and then paste it in here.

Why can't it be ran? what's the message it tells you? that's the most up to date version there is

Bing Bar? do you use Internet explorer? try downloading from a different browser, even edge will work
