I suggest checking the Rust forums and reviews. If they had a local server option, like ARK, where you can play on your own, I would suggest Rust, but with the complaints of griefing going on in the public servers I can't suggest it.
Both may bore you faster then you may want, but at least Rainbow Six is fully released so you know what you are getting.
Seige, as good as an all you can eat shoot out buffet can get, is, unlike rust one directional. If heat of the moment is your thing and you dont fancy the labour part that surrounds it, then seige is a good choice.
There both good games for different reasons so the question is, do you want a little more from just shooting at people. If you do then rust is the way forward.
Oh as spawn of Totoro rightly points out, rust is no place for single players but again seige is hardly a prize winner at single player campaigns either but at least going in blind, you have a better chance of survival if you get my meaning.
I hope your still here chiken as i was adding a point to my orignal post when you replied. Spawn of Totoro did make this point already but i thought it best to back him up as hes most certainly not wrong.
