Steam OS and cordcutters
I'm a cordcutter and I'm really anxious to find out if the steam OS or steam machines will have cross-compatibility with cord-cutter functions? Are there seperate netflix, hulu, amazon apps planned? What about web-browsing and flash functionality in general?

The game systems that Steam is attempting to compete with have already at least attempted that type of functionality (to varying degrees of success--my familiarity is only with the PS3 TV functions) so I'd love to see if and how Steam might be planning to compete with that...

They have hinted at media services so its likely that that stuff will all work one way or another.
If not, its running on Linux so investigate Linux compatibility for the stuff you want.
They have said that they are hack friendly so you are probably ok.

Also, there is a group for SteamOS and all that, and it has a forum. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamuniverse
Thanks for directing me that way--so many groups I have a hard time finding my way around sometimes haha
