Credit Card hacked now im restricted
Okay so for the past 2 months I was completely unaware that my credit card has been hacked,( I was not on Steam) the guy who hacked it bought a ton of games resulting me to pay 200+ dollars. I contacted my bank and told them the situation, and I think they charged backed all the payments because I told them to close the credit card, which resulted me to get restricted
The first few messages said this ''This account will have restricted functionality for 9 weeks.''

The last few messages said this ''This account is now restricted due to excessive chargebacks. Purchasing, gifting, trading, cd-key activation, and Steam Community access have been disabled. If the chargeback is removed, this restriction will be lifted and the content will be returned to your account.''

Does this mean I am permanently restricted from all that stuff until I pay the full 200+ $, Once again I did not purchase any of the 200$ items, I'm a bit confused I get punished for something I didn't even do?

I have this -14.56$ thing on my steam account anyone know why:/

If it wasn't on steam that the hacker bought the games then how come your bank chargedback your steam payments?

You should get in touch with Steam Support to explain them your situation. Try to give as much details as you can. It may take a while for them to investigate the transactions, but if you didn't make these transactions they'll be able to clear your account.

To create a new Support ticket: https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php

But my credit card was on my steam, I don't really know how this happened, I contacted my bank and they closed the credit card for safety reasons. I have like 17 alerts on my steam of all the things charged back because of my bank :( and I have contacted steam support just now

If only your credit card was 'hacked', then how did they also know your login details and get through steams security that authorises your specific pc?

Either you've got a problem locking doors at home, or more likely, you bought a lot of stuff and thought by reversing charges you could get it free.

Better speak to steam support and provide evidence to support your innocence, else you'll need to repay the deficit to unlock your accout.

How are Valve supposed to know that you were not the person who paid for those games?

As far as they are concerned you bought $200 worth of games then charged back your card.

You had nine weeks to contact them about it and failed to do so.

I also did not suggest to charge back the payments I simply told my bank someone is using my credit card and I want to close it.

Let me get this straight, the Steam account you are currently on rite now has 17 alerts regarding charge backs?
So someone hacked your steam account bought $200 worth of crap off steam with your account and credit card info that was saved on your comp and didn't change your Steam login info?
